HydraFix Lip & Nose Balm with PENTAVITIN®  and DEFENSIL® gives skin hydration for 72* hours and protects again painful, rough or chapped corners of the mouth and protects the nose from sunburns.

This lip and nose balm contains sun filters and is formulated on the basis of the natural product beeswax. It contains no ingredients of animal or mineral oil origin (petroleum derivatives), is GMO and CMR-free and is free from pesticides. The green colour camouflages red imperfections. The delicious apple scent makes your horse already licking his lips!

Cardiospermum Halicacabum

Cardiospermum is a climbing plant which originally stems from the tropics. Its name came about because of a white heart-shaped mark on the seed. In pharmacy it is well known to be effective against itching and allergic skin rashes. This is attributed to the high proportions of phytosteroles, triterpenes and stearidonic acids (omega-3-fatty acids), whose anti-inflammatory properties are especially interesting. 

Echiumolie - Cold pressed powerful oil

The oil is extracted from the seeds by cold pressing. Echium oil is very rich in stearidonic acid, an essential omega-3 fatty acid which is known for its anti-inflammatory property. The stearidonic acid effectively inhibits the 5-Lipoxygenase enzyme and thus retards the inflammatory mechanism. The equally high proportion of 7% – 12% gamma-linoleic acid is also responsible for the optimum protection of the skin barrier, as unsaturated fatty acids regenerate the intercellular cement of the epidermis. 

Natural vitamin E (tocopherol) and squalene in the sunflower oil

Reduction in lipid peroxidation*. 

Due to their interesting composition, which is characterised by a high proportion of sterols, the unsaponifiable elements of the sunflower oil have a particularly soothing effect on the skin. The notable presence of natural vitamin E and squalene in the unsaponifiable element of the sunflower oil are of equal importance in the regeneration and care of the skin. The skin is protected and supplied with important ingredients, and in this way deficits are compensated for in a natural way.
